These web pages were started about 1995, when there was only about 5 or 6 pages on the net with a "British focus". The web was dominated by a U.S. perspective (naturally, due to the manner in which it was developed). I had found the British pages while attempting to discover something of my late father's military history. I felt it would be convenient if I put links to all the pages together to make it easier for others to find. This might also encourage traffic past my father's page, hopefully exposing it to the person unknown who could help me! Warlinks is the original name I used for the directory I kept on my computer.

If you are looking for help, the best place is on the web board, I read all postings and if I can help, I will answere there.

As you may have guessed, I am not an historian, nor have I studied World War II long enough to be able to offer any amount of help to anyone. Most of what I know is on these pages, so look around. The best place to get help is the Web board. There are some very smart people there who can help! I read all messages and if I can help I will answer there.

Before Art Owens kindly donated the web space, the monthly fees were quite high. I have put hundreds of dollars into maintaining its presence. Should anyone feel so inclined, I would gratefully appreciate your $support$!
